Early Success Coalition recognized for Community Excellence

The Shelby County Early Success Coalition (ESC) recently received a Governor’s Award for Excellence in Early Foundations from the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet. More than 40 nominations were submitted for the awards, and winners were selected by teams of state employees and community partners based on criteria including family involvement, engagement of community leaders and collaboration across partners and systems. The ESC received the award program’s Community Excellence Award.
